A heroes welcome for Vice President Biden in Kosovo
May 15 (Kosovo Times) – Prime Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi said that Kosovo institutions are getting ready for the visit of the U.S. Vice-President and that Kosovo aspires that the visit proceeds in the most dignified manner possible. Prime Minister Thaçi said that Vice President Biden has always been a friend of Kosovo, supporter of Kosovo as a an independent and sovereign country, therefore he disserves to be welcomed with a heroes welcome.
On the other hand the state secretary at Serbia’s so called Ministry for Kosovo, Oliver Ivanovic said in an interview given to Politika that there should not be many discussions on Kosovo with the U.S. Vice-President, Joe Biden because the U.S. Ambassador Cameron Munter already said that “we do not agree on Kosovo.”
