Prime Minister of Kosovo attends international conference in Dubrovnik
July 7 (Kosovo Times) - Mr. Hashim Thaci, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, has been invited to attend the “Croatia Summit 2009 - Europe’s Strategic Imperative - Energy, Investment and Development” in Dubrovnik. Prime Minister Thaci will also address the conference. The Governments of Croatia and Sweden will host the fourth international conference of senior European and North American leaders and key opinion makers “Croatia Summit 2009 - Europe’s Strategic Imperative - Energy, Investment and Development”, in Dubrovnik, from Thursday, July 9th to Friday, July 10th, 2009. The conference will provide a unique opportunity for senior officials and experts to work towards developing a broader vision for Europe’s future - in light of new strengths demonstrated by the nations of South East Europe - while devising concrete plans for intensifying interaction between EU and NATO member states with countries from the region and beyond. This year, emphasis will be placed on energy, investment, economic development and the prosperity of Europe, together with future policies related to Europe’s Eastern and Southern neighbors.
